R32 is also called difluoromethane with the chemical formula CH2F2. It belongs to a halogenated hydrocarbon and is an excellent refrigerant. Its advantage is that the loss of ozone is zero. Some current refrigerants in air conditioners still use relatively outdated Freon, which has great damage to the ozone layer, which in turn leads to the destruction of the ecological environment, the appearance of holes in the ozone layer, and the increase of ultraviolet radiation. Difluoromethane appears as a colorless transparent liquid under its own pressure. Compared with R22, difluoromethane is more excellent and has more stable properties. It has relatively similar physical properties to R410A, which is mostly used instead of R22. Although the physical properties are similar, in terms of environmental protection, difluoromethane has an irreplaceable advantage, and its GWP value is much smaller than that of R410A. Due to the excellent characteristics of difluoromethane, the amount of difluoromethane required in air conditioners is less than that of R22 and R410A, not to mention that the price of difluoromethane is lower, which can achieve the purpose of saving costs to a certain extent. This is also one of the advantages of R32. It can be seen that difluoromethane has great application prospects in air conditioning systems.
