R410A is a new type of environmentally friendly refrigerant that does not destroy the ozone layer. When cooling or heating, the working pressure is about 1.6 times that of ordinary R22 air conditioners, and the cooling (heating) efficiency is higher. Improve air conditioning performance without destroying the ozone layer. R410A new refrigerant is composed of two quasi-azeotropic mixtures, mainly composed of hydrogen, fluorine and carbon elements (expressed as hfc), which is stable, non-toxic, and superior in performance. At the same time, since it does not contain chlorine, it will not react with ozone, that is, it will not destroy the ozone layer. In addition, the performance of air conditioners using new refrigerants will also be improved to a certain extent. R410A is the most suitable refrigerant to replace R22, which is recognized internationally so far, and it has been popularized in Europe, America, Japan and other countries.

R410A has good heat transfer performance. The evaporation heat transfer coefficient and condensation heat transfer coefficient of R410A are higher than that of R407C. The evaporation test study found that the heat transfer coefficient of R410A in a smooth horizontal tube is about 50% higher than that of R407C;
The condensation test shows that the condensation heat transfer coefficient of R410A is 20% higher than that of R407C in the smooth tube. Outside the smooth tube, the condensation heat transfer of R410A is 35% to 50% higher than that of R407C. Outside the tube with micro-fins, the condensation heat transfer coefficient of R410A is 35% to 55% higher than that of R407C.
The low heat transfer coefficient of R407C is related to its non-azeotropic property:
One is that there is a large phase transition temperature gradient during equal pressure evaporation or condensation.
Second, there is a significant concentration difference between the vapor and liquid phases.
An important reason for the high heat transfer coefficient of R410A is its near-azeotropic property. In addition, the flow pressure drop of R410A is smaller than that of R407C and R22.
In terms of refrigerant compression efficiency, the compression efficiency of R410A is higher than that of R407C, which is expressed as:
The compression efficiency of R410A is 5% to 20% higher than that of R407C.
Using R410A can achieve higher system performance coefficient than R407C. The data obtained on the compressor test bench shows that the coefficient of performance of R410A is more than 10% of that of R407C.
