Refrigerant Industry: The Draft of The 2025 Quota Plan Has Been Released

Draft of the "2025 Total Ozone-Depleting Substance Quota Setting and Allocation Plan": 

According to the implementation schedule, the total production quota of HCFCs in China in 2025 will be 163,600 tons, and the total amount of domestic production quota and total use quota will be 86,000 tons, that is, the production and use of HCFCs in China in 2025 will be reduced by 67.5% and 73.2% of the baseline value according to the ODP value, respectively. 

Among them, the total production quota allocated by R22 in 2025 will be 149,100 tons, a decrease of 32,800 tons from 2024, and the domestic production quota allocated by R22 will be 80,900 tons, a decrease of 31,000 tons from 2024; In 2025, R141b will allocate a total production quota of 9,200 tons, a decrease of 11,900 tons from 2024, and R141b will allocate 3,400 tons of domestic production quota, a decrease of 7,400 tons from 2024.
