Refrigerant Price Weekly Review (16-22,Oct.,2022)

This week, the refrigerant market maintained stability and consolidation, and the prices of raw materials were mixed.

Weekly market characteristics: 

The oversupply of basic raw material methylene chloride has led to price pressure and downward pressure, chloroform

prices have been rising in a narrow range due to short-term replenishment and speculation. The supply of sulfuric acid

market shrunk in a narrow range, the price of superimposed raw material sulfur rose at a high level, the willingness of acid

companies to support the price was strong, and the acid price rose sharply; the fluorite powder factory's operating

load was limited, and the tight supply of goods in the field drove the price to rise, and the core raw material hydrofluoric acid supply is loose and prices are temporarily stable. 

At present, the domestic market is affected by the outbreak of epidemics in many places and the convening of national conferences. While the production of refrigerant plants has been reduced and production has increased, traffic control has led to poor transportation in many places, and the market volume of mainstream refrigerants has decreased. In the export market, near the end of the year, in order to compete for more import quotas, the foreign trade market is actively purchasing, and the export demand is still strong. 

On the whole, the development of the epidemic and the traffic control have a great impact on the refrigerant market, and the refrigerant market will mainly move sideways in the short term.
