4. Packaging: R134a gas must be packaged in accordance with the relevant regulations. Packaging must comply with the requirements for pressure vessels and piping, and must be clearly marked and identified as containing F-gases.

5. Labelling: Labelling requirements are similar to those for packaging. The labels must comply with harmonized standards and include information about the gas, its hazards, and how to handle it safely.

6. Traceability and control: Traceability is important to ensure that any non-compliant R134a gas is traced back to its origin and taken out of circulation. The customs authorities in each member state may require importers to provide traceability documents and additional information to ensure compliance with EU regulations.
